Curriculum
Not all schools are fortunate enough to have in-house science specialists, working with you we can tailor a National Curriculum enrichment programme ranging from a day to an ongoing structured syllabus.
Our after school clubs don’t teach the national curriculum but they do complement it. We always use the correct scientific terminology, we help our students to design and carry out fair tests. We develop their skills in observation and prediction and we encourage them to develop and express their opinions. Our students then take this enthusiasm and these skills back into the classroom.
You won’t find us at the whiteboard, we will be with the students discussing and developing their ideas and experiments. We develop all of our own workshops to make sure that they are the best way of getting the learning you want to achieve across in an exciting and engaging way.
Variety and Structure
Workshop activities are varied. A child who stayed with us from Yr 2 through to Yr 6 will not do the same activity twice - why should they? There is so much great science to do!
