Teacher STEM Event 2009
The Bridge Business and Rocket Challenge:

Mark arrived promptly, in great spirits and full of enthusiasm. He made the staff feel like a breath of fresh air had arrived. He set up his equipment and went straight to work.
The students were fully engaged throughout the whole day and eager to return after breaks. He made science fun and exciting while teaching. The day is one to be repeated as everyone got so much out of it. We will have him back again next year.

Teacher STEM Event 2009
We would highly recommend Mark and Hands-on-Science to any school or organisation that wants to engage young people in "educational but fun' STEM enrichment workshops.

Hands On Science was fantastic. By far the best activity in our post examination program.

Thanks again for making science so much fun for our children!

M***** is thoroughly enjoying science and the experiments you have been doing. We look forward to you returning for the summer term.

Many thanks for opening J***’s mind and thinking over the last couple of years.

Can I just say how much our son, S**, is enjoying the class and these weekly emails are really helpful.

'I just wanted to let you know how much my son is enjoying science club. He comes home every week full of the activities he has done and is definitely developing an enquiring mind! Interestingly, he is the only child in his class who goes to science club and his teacher recently commented on his sophisticated use of scientific language and his obvious understanding of scientific concepts. Being the youngest in his class, I found this comment particularly significant and I believe it is a great reflection of the active and enjoyable way that you teach science.'

Just a quick note to say thank you for the time and effort you are putting into this Science club. C*** and J*** are really enjoying the club - to the extent that C**** turned down the chance to do extra sports - in order to keep with Science! I also appreciate the fact that you seem to be incredibly positive towards the children, and encouraging them do discover more about the subject.

J*** will definitely be doing Hands on Science next Term as it is his favourite after school activity.
Keep up the good work - and THANK YOU!

Mr Walton is supportive and encourages you to do experiments to solve the mystery of "Who killed Mrs Price?".

It was great. I hope they come back next year.

It was fun, I loved piecing all the clues together and testing all the pieces of evidence.

Absolutely brilliant. It really made me think and I had to work in a team.

Fantastic – Best thing this year.

I didn’t used to like Science – but I do NOW.

Best day of the year.
