We make our own indicator solution and test household liquids. Through practical experiments we find out about neutralisation.
Children carry make a simple indicator solution so that they can explore the pH scale in the classroom then back at home with the indicator paper they made. Some really wow moments as a few drops of lemon juice change our purple potion bright red.
